Moretonhampstead Crafts Collective is a group of professional craft makers based in Moretonhampstead. We aim to be a mutual support network for crafts people in Moreton and to encourage visitors to the town by celebrating and promoting the variety of craft makers which we have here.

Our group includes leather workers and shoe makers, potters, jewellers, a willow weaver, a textile artist, wood worker and a maker of herbal skincare cosmetics. We organise Open Studios events which give visitors a chance to meet the makers and to learn about the making processes.

OPEN STUDIOS NOVEMBER 2022

We are holding an OPEN STUDIOS event at 6 venues in Moretonhampstead on Saturday November 26th and Sunday 27th. Opening times from 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

At the UNITARIAN CHAPEL in Cross Street there will be Katherine Miles – willow weaving Trevor Meadows – printmaking Veronica Gould – textiles Jenny Morris – fleeces Nicky Barton – jewellery

At CROSS TREE POTTERY next to the Unitarian Chapel in Cross Street there will be Taja – porcelain

At GREEN SHOES 26A Cross Street there will be Green Shoes – shoes and leather goods Bundy Riley – herbal skincare Sally Marieke – pottery

At PONDEROSA in Station Road there will be Mike Jeffery – woodwork

At PENNY SIMPSON CERAMICS at 42 Court Street there will be Penny Simpson – ceramics Jill Fanshawe-Kato – ceramics Michael Edwards – painting and printmaking
