Everyone can draw. Children draw without being taught. They learn a foreign language without being taught sometimes two or more! So why do we mostly seem to lose any sense of fun and ability to draw as we grow older?  Betty Edwards has written a really great book on this called ‘Drawing on the right side of the brain’ in which she describes techniques which you can use to learn how to see, because that is really what we need to be able to do.

Come and explore some of these technique artists use, using a life model.  No experience necessary.  Lots of short sketches building up to longer ones.  A perfect tutored session for new artists and students.

Materials and paper can be provided but do bring any of you own materials should you wish – pencils, pens, paper etc.
