Weather is all around us and influences and impacts our daily lives. As part of Green Hill Arts’ exhibition In Extremis – Images of Landscape we will be hosting an evening with Katy and Catherine who will be discussing weather and climate from their two contrasting perspectives.
In Extremis features the work of Katy’s late husband C R Brownridge and the artist Deborah Westmancoat. Katy will describe how weather and climate inspired and influenced her late husband’s work.
Catherine is a Director with the Environment Agency where the science and impact of weather and climate change is part of her everyday work. She will describe how understanding landscape can help society adapt for future weather extremes.
Catherine will talk about the science of our changing weather and how this impacts on our daily life and how we manage for the extremes.
Ticket £8 for adults and £5 for students and concessions. Ticket price will include a drink. The talk will take place at Green Hill
