Award-winning wildlife artist Diane Bailey gives an insight into her very individual approach to portraying charismatic animals.

The workshop is suitable for all abilities with the emphasis on looseness and experimentation in a relaxed fun environment.

Diane will cover the basic properties of acrylic, the necessary balance between energy and control, and how she uses colour to achieve lively but authentic images.

The progress of several paintings will be shown and there will be the opportunity to try various techniques to achieve different textures using a particular creature as a basis.

Equipment will be supplied - Tea and coffee will be available (small donation request). Do bring a packed lunch or grab something locally in the cafe or one of the many pubs.
